"The Darkness of Light"

I happened to capture this image at a time when the sun was really strong and shining from the west in the late afternoon. The top of the tree looked just like gold when the sun cast it's light on it. Other areas were shadowed by larger trees except for one small area down near the water. You can also see some reflection in the stream right below that area. I took several shots of this. The next day when I came back for more. The tree had already gone past peak, and started to turn brown on the edges of the leaves. Fall has just gone by so quickly this year!
