This flower looks as if it is struggling to open up. You can see some residual rain on it. I may check it later to see if it was able to overcome it's struggle with the weight of the rain.
Coming down out of the Mountains in PA., the air was thick with humidity and the clouds were gathering. You can see areas of soft feathery grass in some places, as well as groups of trees intermixed with grassland. This image shows the heat of the day. The possibility of a summer storm, and the beauty of the area.
