Splendor in the Sky
Another beautiful cloud display. The kind that you can just enjoy by laying down in a field of wildflowers, letting their intoxicating aroma permeate your sense of smell, as your eyes are treated to the cloud delight displayed in the sky.
The Bridge on Approach
The view of the stone bridge just looked so old and inviting as I approached it. This view is right before entering. The next post shows it as a tunnel, the post after that gives the patterns of the stone on the ceiling. The feel was cool , damp and with the sound of water dripping constantly. Lovely!
Patterns Under the Bridge
This is part of the ceiling under the bridge that I had posted a photo of in an earlier post. I just loved the look, and feel of the wet mossy stone. It has the feel of what you might think a castle of old may have felt like.
Bright and Blooming at the Cafe
Just a beautiful day, great time to spend outdoors eating at an outdoor cafe. The flowers were so bright and stunning, it just set the mood. Photo taken July 2010

Nearly Sunset in the Field
Getting close to sunset, there were some nice cloud formations with a little color in the sky. The field was filled with wildflowers, and dandelions that had turned to seed. A light haze hung over from the humidity in the air.
The Flower I thought Would Never Open
I got an image of this flower a few days ago when it looked as though it was struggling to open. Well it did finally blossom forth , and this is the result. Not symmetrical at all, but perfect in its own way.
Evening Reflection
Walking around a pond , nearly dusk. There was still enough sunlight mixed with the clouds to give a nice reflection in the water. The humidity was a little high because of the immense amount of rain we've been having all spring, but the air was still cool enough to feel good.

Tiny Tropical Reflecting Pool
Here are two views of this tropical. One regular and one close up. You can see the tiny amount of water in the center, acting like a tiny reflecting pool of the ceiling, and sky above.

Hang a Left Under the Bridge
This was a fantastic stone bridge. Water dripped down from all the old cracks, moss was growing on some of the stones. Old railroad tracks ran across top of it, but I wasn't able to get up there to get an image of them.
