"Evening Draws Near"

As the day was coming to a close, and evening was getting near I stopped by the side of the road to take in the beauty of these two trees. If I remember correctly they are either apple or crab apple trees, but I'm not totally sure. They had such a pretty shape and were nicely contrasted with blue sky quickly fading behind them, and the tufts of dried grass partially covered in snow. Patches of late afternoon sunlight can be seen on a few areas of the grass and snow.
