"It's the Roots"

Today I happened to be out and was able to catch a few shots while I was on my way home. This image here had a great feeling to me. I loved the look of the tree roots all twisted and coming out of the ground. The trees here have their roots all intertwined with each other, as if they're reaching out in friendship! The snow partially covering them also makes for a nice winter scene. I have a fondness for the sound of the icy cold water rushing from behind them in the stream.
The tree's roots are their foundation, their anchor to life, stability, and how they thrive. Human beings are like trees in this way. We all need stability, to have a solid base for our lives, and the need for each other as helpers ans friends.
We too can be like these trees with firm anchors to the ground and at the same time reaching out to each other as friends and family, in good times and bad, in hard times and easy. Giving each other the support and love that they need.
I hope you enjoyed this image. It is an image that also applies to us in life. Isn't it fantastic what we can find out there in nature when we take the time to look!
