"Into the Unknown"

When I was in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan I stopped many times by the side of the road to take in the early autumn scenery( with my camera of course). I encountered many places that there was plenty of fog. This particular shot was taken while in light fog, but I could see that I was heading into what I call "pea soup fog". So I decided to get out and see what it would like like from the camera's view point. This is the end result. This image is pretty much as shot. What you see is what you get.
The whole day was pretty much in and out of fog, and at times nearly zero visibility. I hear it happens pretty often like that in the area I was in. It can have a strange feeling to it, but I really love the whole area. It's a really great rural place to go! I highly recommend it to everyone!
