An image of the beautiful fields of yellow flowers that last for a very short time in the Mid-west. I took this shot a couple of days ago, and now almost all of these fields have turned pretty much green.
This day was exceptional in feel. Cool, somewhat windy, clouds really heavy and stormy at times, but with an invigorating feel.
In this shot you can see the vastness of the field of yellow flowers which extends to the trees, and the cloudy tumultuous sky above.
An altogether great day in a field of flores amarillas!!

These yellow fields are always a stunning sight at this time of the year. In the UK we have Brassica Napus (Oilseed rape being it's common name). A powerful sky always helps. A nice find, Rachel
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Andy!!! I couldn't figure out if this was Rapeseed, or yellow mustard weed, which is also common here.
ReplyDeleteMan, love the color of that field. Looks so cool. Would love to walk through it :)
