"Toulouse on the Loose"

As I mentioned in a previous post, this Toulouse goose has paired up with a Canada goose, and the goslings in the prior post are theirs.
This image is of the Toulouse being protective as I approached the goslings. A lot of hissing was heard, so I stayed pretty well away.
Honestly I have no idea if this is the male or the female. I've looked up everything I could find on this type of goose, and I wasn't able to figure it out.
No matter what the gender this goose is both beautiful in color, and a wonderful sight to see!
