"Through the Fence"

This is another image of the cobblestone farm that I took a few weeks ago. The previous image of this house was a side view with the long afternoon shadows. This shot was actually taken before that one, as I approached the house. I thought the fence would add an interesting look to the image. The late afternoon sun and some shadows can be seen on the house and front yard. This place is such a wonderful textural piece of architecture!

"Gently Bowing"

This shot was taken earlier this month after one of our light snows. The pond and marshlands were frozen solid. It was a beautiful day for a brisk winter walk. This lovely and large tree limb I thought would make for  a nice addition to the image. See what you think!

"Blue Skies and Shadows"

We received a little more snow on top of what we already had, so I decided to go out and do some cross country skiing yesterday. Of course my camera and gear were all with me!
It was frigidly cold, but oh so beautiful. Amazing crisp blue skies, powdery snow, and as you can see here some wonderful shadows from this tree with the low hanging branch.
Today has turned completely cloudy, and is the exact opposite of yesterday, so I'm really happy I went out even though I got pretty frozen!
