"Blooming"

Well things are blooming like crazy here. Just about everything you can imagine is either in bloom or just about to burst forth. I'll probably be posting a lot of spring blossom images over the course of the next few weeks, intermixed with my other usual photographic interests!
I really just can't believe what this year looks like compared to last year at this time. I think many of us all over the world are experiencing the same thing. Tell me how things are where you are! :)

"How Many a Spring"

Walking around a marshy area on an early spring day brings many joys. I must have passed by this tree fifty times in my life, but never really took notice of it. It's old, gnarly, and beautiful. I wonder how old it is. How many early spring days has it seen. What has it seen in all it's years standing there, weathering the seasons, watching on as life changes. Imagine for a minute the life of this lovely tree! Just how many a spring has it seen!

"Within it's Grasp"

I was down at a lake a couple of days ago waiting for sunset. You know how iffy that can be! I got quite a few images, and of course quite a few that aren't any good LOL! I don't know how you feel about this one, but when I saw this long bare branched tree reaching high into the sky, I thought it looked as if either the tree was grasping for the sunset or the sunset was going to grasp and envelope the spindly tree! Enjoy!

"Ink Blot"

In the quest for spring flower images, upon going through my shots I discovered this one. It's a beautiful purple and white tulip that is fully open, but when I was looking at it, all I could think of was Ink Blot pictures. See what you think. It's sort of a macro-abstract image to me!
