"Dream State"

You know the feeling when you're still in a dream state. Not quite awake. Things are a little hazy, am I dreaming or am I awake?
 This beautiful jonquil image with it's back-lit petals in the bright late afternoon sun, gives you that dreamy feeling.
 I'll have to rely on this and a few other images to remind me of spring. We've had two freezes , loads of rain and quite a bit of hail since the spring bulbs started to bloom. Everything has taken quite a hitting!
  Memories and some images are the only reminders that there was a spring.

"Mural Cracked"

I love this brightly colored wall mural and have taken a couple of shots of it before. It's been a long time since I've seen it and now notice that it has many cracks, and areas where dirt is even able to get in near the bottom. I don't know when this mural was done, or by whom, but it still remains a work of art and beauty even though time is taking it's toll!

"Evening on the Huron"

An early spring has arrived, but it looks like it's going to get cut short and head back in to normal weather for this time of year. I've been trying to get out and capture some of the beauty we've gotten before the freeze possibly takes it away.
This is one of many images taken on a beautiful evening on the Huron River. A rain storm had just passed minutes before I took these shots, which made the sunset and it's reflections on the water really lovely!
