"Blanket Flower"

This image is of a Blanket Flower. I love the bright and cheerful colors, plus it reminds me of the Indian Paintbrush that grows wild in Texas along with the Bluebonnets in springtime!.

"Galloping Gourmet"

This is a fun image that I just used in the 53 week challenge on Flikr. This week's theme was "The Galloping Gourmet".
This was my artistic interpretation of the theme. :) My little Playmobil guy was ready to get cooking with all his hot and flavorful spices, as he galloped into the pan on his horse holding his sword, ready to chop up all the ingredients that came his way. He already did a great job chopping up the chips! ;) Enjoy!

"Halls of Knowledge"

A monochrome image of the Pease Auditorium that was dedicated in honor of Frederic H. Pease, and built in 1914. The architecture on this building is truly lovely!
This shot was taken in the late afternoon, you can clearly see the shadows of the two lamps on the sides of the doors, as well as the shadows of the trees against the building. The sun was really bright at that hour with gorgeous blue sky behind it as the building is facing west.
I did this image in both black and white and color.
